Working as a Department Team Leader in Spotlight, you'll be heading up a specialized area of the store as well as supporting the Store Manager in reporting, sales assessments and strategy, team building and training and stock management
Working in our Multi-million dollar store, you'll have the influence and potential to drive sales and profit further!
For a fulfilling, fast paced and fun people leader, the DTL role will also involve:
Role Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations
* Monitor daily stock recovery in your department
* Achieve sales growth and meet department KPI targets
* Build your team to deliver exceptional customer service
* Lead by example in all areas
* High volume stock management
* Executing department Visual Merchandising and standards
* Launching and planning catalogue campaigns
* Stock integrity initiatives to increase department profit
The Ideal Candidate:
* Strong retail leadership experience preferred
* Visual merchandising experience
* Physically capable to work large volumes of stock and set the pace
* Having an owner's mindsetfor your department
* A passionate attitude that inspires your Team
* A resilient & innovative problem solver
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* IT competency
* First Aid certified or willing to be trained (fully funded)
