Objective
The goal of this internship is to develop a generative AI model that can efficiently generate SystemVerilog code for IC product development, thereby streamlining our design and verification processes. You will work closely with our team of experts to design, implement, and evaluate the performance of the AI model, and integrate it into our existing development workflows. Through this project, you will develop a deep understanding of the complexities of IC product development, from design and verification to manufacturing and testing. This hands‑on experience will not only enhance your skills in AI and machine learning but also provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the IC product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Holistic overview: Explore the potential of generative AI technology for SystemVerilog code generation in IC product development processes.
* Shape the future: Develop and train a generative AI model to generate SystemVerilog code for IC product development.
* Collaborative spirit: Work closely with our cross‑functional teams to integrate the AI model into our existing development workflows.
* Innovative spirit: Document the work and results, and contribute to the development of innovative AI‑driven solutions in the semiconductor industry.
Qualifications
* A solid understanding of programming concepts and familiarity with Python programming language.
* A basic understanding of IC digital design and verification and experience with SystemVerilog and UVM as a plus.
* Previous experience with AI, machine learning, AI agent frameworks (e.g. Langchain, Autogen) and/or version control systems like GIT is a significant advantage.
* A self‑motivated and curious working style with good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
* Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
Employment Details
Type of employment: Temporary / Part‑time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: minimum 12 months
Collective Agreement
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full‑time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (link).
