On behalf of our client, a 5* Hotel in Serfaus, Tyrol, Austria, we are looking for a Chef de Rang!
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the smooth running of the section
* Assist junior team members
* Deliver excellent standards of service in a friendly and professional manner to our guests
* Proactively welcome and greet all guests and visitors to the Restaurant and the Hotel
* Assist in the setup of the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready
* Seat guests offering them menus, drinks and provide explanations of the menu when required
* Deal efficiently and courteously with all guest queries
* Ensure the restaurant environment is always maintained and cleaned to a high standard both during and after service
* Deliver consistent, exceptional service in line with the luxury standards
* Excellent knowledge of restaurant menus in order to be able to offer guidance and make recommendations
Ideal Candidate:
* Have a passion for all things food and beverage
* Be able to help train and supervise team members ensuring they deliver consistent quality of service
* Have previous experience in a similar environment
* Have a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from 4* and 5* establishments
* Be creative minded with a passion and respect for the provenance of food
* Relish the pressure of a busy restaurant environment
* Speak German at a minimum B1 level
