About the Role
As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will oversee commercial functions, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic guidance across Outbound Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Partnerships. You will develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue objectives, optimize sales processes, and ensure alignment with company goals. You will collaborate with Marketing, Technology/Operations, Product, Finance, People & Culture, and other teams to steer growth. With Verdane, you will expand our software offering, accelerate growth, and consolidate our position as the operating system for the coffee industry.
What You'll Do
Strategic Revenue Growth : develop and implement strategies to support revenue growth across multiple channels, identify new market opportunities, build on the current inbound product‑led sales funnel, and support the organization to triple ARR from today’s €10 M.
Strategic Direction for Sales and Marketing : provide guidance to Sales and Marketing leaders, refine strategies, drive lead generation, and ensure seamless processes.
Account Management and Expansion : support account retention and expansion, assess account performance, and work with the team to grow opportunities.
Strategic Partnership Development : identify and nurture partnerships that broaden reach and create new revenue streams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration : work with Product and Finance to align product development, sales, and marketing, and define company‑wide revenue goals and KPIs.
Data‑Driven Decision Making : use analytics to inform strategies and respond proactively to market shifts.
Financial Oversight and Accountability : manage budgets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies for efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development : foster a collaborative culture, mentor teams across Sales, Marketing, and Business Growth, and manage a global team across Americas, Europe, and APAC.
What We’re Looking For
Extensive leadership experience in a similar SaaS role, building go‑to‑market strategies and sales organizations from the ground up.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong background in SaaS marketing or close collaboration with the area.
Excellent leadership and team‑building skills, fostering collaboration and inclusive work environments.
A strategic mindset, turning ideas into actionable, results‑driven plans.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships across teams and external partners.
Thoughtful, data‑informed decision‑making, ensuring balanced outcomes.

Compensation
The compensation package consists of a base salary starting at €150 K gross/year and a variable component on top.
