For one of our customers, an internationally renowned logistics service provider, we are currently searching a
Lean & Facility Manager.
Responsibilities:
Process Design & Optimization:
* Redesign, optimise, and monitor logistical processes.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, CIP, 5S, shop floor
* management).
* Conduct feasibility studies and process analyses.
Project Management & Implementation:
* Develop and implement project plans in line with company guidelines.
* Coordinate project teams and ensure seamless communication between
* clients, employees, and the company.
* Monitor project progress, KPIs, and compliance with agreed targets.
* Share best practices across international teams and ensure knowledge
* transfer.
Training & Coaching:
* Conduct employee training sessions on lean methodologies and process
* optimisation.
* Evaluate and follow up on training effectiveness.
Facility & Operational Support:
* Plan and coordinate maintenance and inspections of equipment, vehicles,
* and facilities.
* Manage relationships with external service providers (cleaning, fleet,
* equipment, etc.).
* Oversee materials procurement, fleet management, and IT equipment
* requests.
* Ensure proper damage management and reporting procedures.
Requirements:
* Completed business or technical degree (MBA or postgraduate qualification in Lean
* Engineering or similar is an advantage).
* Several years of professional experience in lean engineering, logistics, or operations
* management.
• Strong knowledge of process optimisation tools and KPI evaluation.
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP user skills.
* Independent, solution-oriented, and proactive working style.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Business fluency in German and English.
* Experience in contract logistics is desirable.
