As Head of Global Category & Trade Marketing (m/f/d) you will:
Shape and own the global category vision, identifying growth opportunities, shopper insights, market trends, and strategic direction across all retail and digital channels.
Lead global trade marketing excellence, defining POS activation strategies, merchandising principles, and scalable in‑store communication standards.
Develop global tools, playbooks, and activation frameworks to ensure consistent, premium brand execution in every market.
Create compelling global customer and distributor sell‑in materials, including category narratives, launch stories, and retailer pitch decks.
Orchestrate cross‑functional alignment, acting as the central connector between Global Marketing, Innovation, Portfolio, Sales, Operations, and local markets to ensure launch readiness and coherent global prioritization
Drive global reporting and insights, including shopper trends, category performance, competitive updates, and best‑practice sharing across regions.
Lead and facilitate global sell‑in events, including launch briefings, distributor conferences, customer presentations, and capability‑building sessions.
Build and develop a high‑performing Global Category & Trade Marketing team, elevating trade marketing capabilities worldwide through training and coaching.
What makes you a great fit
You…
Have 8+ years of experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Commercial Strategy – ideally in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods.
Bring a proven track record of building category visions and working with major international retailers, distributors, or partners.
Possess a deep understanding of shopper behavior, POS activation, retail environments, and global markets.
Are skilled at scaling global toolkits, GTM frameworks, and trade marketing processes across diverse regions.
Are an exceptional communicator and storyteller, able to translate insights into compelling narratives.
Communicate fluently in English (written & verbal); German skills are nice‑to‑have, but not required.
Excel in cross‑functional leadership within matrix environments and enjoy driving alignment.
Have strong analytical thinking paired with commercial acumen and a hands‑on, results‑driven mindset.
Are proactive, entrepreneurial, and thrive in fast‑paced global settings.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 80.000 gross per year on a full‑time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
