An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Junior Construction Project Manager at Corporate Construction and Maintenance Services Pty Ltd in North Plympton SA, this is an entry-level position in construction management, requires the candidate to have a diploma/bachelor or equivalent qualification, where you’ll assist senior managers with project tasks, learning industry practices, and gain experience in areas like site management and coordination.

Corporate Construction and Maintenance Services(CCMS) is a building and trade service company that has been operating since the 1980s. We work across South Australia, completing commercial and residential works, government projects, new home plumbing, roofing maintenance, trade services etc.
Responsibilities
* Assist in managing commercial projects up to $2 million, in fit-outs, refurbishments, renovations
* Providing tenders on projects
* Assisting with project estimating, planning and scheduling
* Site Management, supervising and coordinating tradespeople on site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and managing daily activities.
* Preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate documentation of project progress.
* Procurement and Logistics, assisting with sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and ensuring timely delivery.
* Quality Control, monitoring the quality of workmanship and ensuring projects meet required standards.
* Communicating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Ensuring OH&S standards are always met and maintained
* Ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
* Resolving issues as they arise with efficient and effective problem-solving skills
* Showing leadership to respond to unforeseen site issues
* Understanding the sensitive nature of projects
Requirements
* A bachelor/diploma or equivalent qualification in building and construction or a related field is often required
* Entry-level position may not require extensive experience, but some practical experience in the construction industry can be beneficial
* Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and relevant regulations is essential.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are also important.
* Prefer experience in Government projects, such as education, health and defence.
* Proficient in using Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Current Industry White Card
