Overview
IT:U is a new technical university in Austria (Linz) dedicated to digital transformation, driven by interdisciplinary research and project-based learning to actively shape this transformation and advance it with a solution-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
* Providing technical IT support for end users on site, by telephone or ticket system
* Diagnosis, documentation and resolution of hardware and software problems
* Installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems, applications, mobile phones and IT workplace
* Support for audio and video conferencing systems, including setup and troubleshooting for meeting rooms and during university events
* Training and support for end users in the use of IT systems
* Creation and maintenance of documentation and knowledge base
* Compliance with IT guidelines and security standards
* Collaborating with other IT teams to solve complex problems
Qualifications
* Completed IT apprenticeship, IT technical school, HTL (partial), (partial) studies in the IT field or corresponding practical experience
* Enjoy contact with students and employees
* Ability to work in a team, flexibility and service orientation
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 / Entra / Teams / Sharepoint / Intune / Powershell and Windows 11 (Mac and Linux desirable)
* Very good written and spoken communication skills (German and English)
