Position
Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) – Test Engineer (m/f/d). This position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria. The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all LV switchgear assemblies are fully tested, compliant, and functionally validated before delivery, by planning and leading testing activities and FAT execution.
What You’ll Do
* Plan and execute all LVSA testing activities
* Develop and manage FAT procedures
* Design production test processes
* Lead FAT with customers and stakeholders
* Perform functional, protection, and communication testing
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system issues
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards
* Maintain complete and accurate test documentation
* Support continuous improvement of testing processes
Qualifications And Skills
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in LV switchgear, panel building, or system assembly
* Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, protection devices, and control circuits
* Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC 61439, UL 508A, etc.)
* Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools
* Problem‑solving and analytical thinking
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
What We Offer
* Performance‑oriented and attractive remuneration, approximately EUR 60,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (additional overpayment possible depending on qualifications and experience)
