Job Description Role Summary As a Public Sector Account Executive – New Business, you will directly lead ServiceNow’s expansion into Austria’s government institutions, utilities, and healthcare organizations. Your mission is to establish new strategic relationships, drive awareness, and position ServiceNow as the top strategic platform and the leading AI and agentic technology that enables efficient, citizen- and customer-centric public services. You are a true hunter — proactive, self-driven, and passionate about opening new doors. You will engage directly with senior decision-makers to shape the modernization agenda across Austria’s public ecosystem. While partners support the contractual setup and implementation, you will also collaborate with global and local partners (GSIs, advisory firms, and integrators) to co-develop strategic initiatives that accelerate adoption, expand reach, and drive measurable public impact. Key Responsibilities Drive new business acquisition directly with government institutions, utilities, and healthcare organizations. Build a strategic hunting plan, including targeted outreach, participation in key events, and regional engagement activities to expand reach and brand visibility. Maintain 5–10 high-quality external touchpoints per week (meetings, events, executive conversations, or community engagements). Position ServiceNow’s citizen and customer service solutions as the foundation for modern, transparent, and efficient public service delivery. Leverage demographic trends — such as the retirement of the baby boomer workforce — to position ServiceNow as a key enabler for doing more with less through AI and digital workforce automation. Collaborate with partners such as Accenture, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and others to jointly develop strategic initiatives, industry campaigns, and transformation programs in the public sector. Develop clear business cases demonstrating how AI and automation improve service delivery, compliance, and satisfaction for both citizens and customers. Ensure all opportunities are accurately qualified, forecasted, and managed through CRM with disciplined pipeline hygiene. Coordinate partner involvement in contracting, solution design, and implementation, ensuring alignment and customer success from opportunity creation through delivery. Expand ServiceNow’s network within the Austrian public ecosystem through active participation in third-party events, associations, and thought-leadership forums .
