Position Overview
The Xtrackers Sales Specialist team within the Client Coverage Division manages professional clients across Germany, Austria, and Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) with DWS’s passive product offerings. The role blends direct client engagement with specialist knowledge of ETFs and passive mandates, including asset managers, private and retail banks, wealth managers, family offices, corporates, pension funds, and insurance companies.

Your responsibilities
* Focus on ETFs, Index Funds, and Indexed Mandates.
* Cover the Austria & CEE region across multiple client segments, driving asset growth, revenue growth, and client retention.
* Serve as a specialist sales professional aligned to broader market coverage and client specialists in Eastern Europe and Austria.
* Manage and implement client‑related activities such as meetings, events, roadshows, and conferences.
* Plan business activities, segment client tiers, and execute sales strategy.
* Handle client requests promptly, ensuring compliance, modifying mandates, performing performance calculations, and reconciling valuations.
* Organize and coordinate regular communications and reports to clients and prospects.
* Maintain periodic client communications and holdings reports.
* Collaborate with sales support, the passive product division, and capital markets.
* Work closely with the wider EMEA Passive coverage team.
We are looking for
* Education: Degree or equivalent higher education, or a bank apprenticeship with relevant business experience and further education.
* Business Experience: Minimum 4 years in financial markets and sales roles.
* Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of wholesale market drivers, regulatory environment, changing client needs, and competitor positioning.
* Skills: Technical asset allocation, trading and/or product structuring, and fund/index mutual fund product and trading know‑how.
* A strong client‑service mentality and team player attitude.
* Languages: English and German required; additional European languages, especially CEE, are a plus.
