You will be the operational heartbeat of our venue, ensuring every detail—from the first cocktail to the final farewell—is executed with precision, warmth, and style.
The Role: Venue Manager
You will have full responsibility for the daily operations of the front‑of‑house, bar, and overall guest experience. Reporting directly to the ownership/General Manager, you will lead the service team, manage the bar program alongside our Head Bartender, and ensure financial and operational targets are not just met, but exceeded.

* Conduct regular training on service standards, menu knowledge, and cocktail offerings.
Operational Excellence
* Manage all day‑to‑day venue operations, ensuring seamless service flow between the dining room and bar.
* Uphold and elevate Koi Toy’s standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness.
* Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and resolution with grace and professionalism.
* Oversee opening and closing procedures, maintenance, and facility management.
Beverage Program & Bar Management
* Utilize your intermediate/advanced knowledge of bar operations, spirits, and mixology.
* Work in partnership with the Head Bartender to maintain cocktail quality, consistency, and innovation.
* Manage bar inventory, control costs, and contribute to the development of seasonal cocktail menus.
* Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and licensing requirements.
Business & Financial Acumen
* Manage reservations, optimise table turns, and drive revenue through strategic floor management.
* Monitor and report on key financial metrics, including sales, costs, and labour.
* Handle cash management, daily reconciliations, and reporting.
Who You Are: (Require working both Saturdays and Sundays)
* A proven leader with 3+ years of experience in a management role within a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant or cocktail bar.
* Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic/modern cocktail techniques. Formal bar training or certification is a strong plus.
* A natural hospitality professional with impeccable guest relations skills and a calm, solutions‑oriented demeanour under pressure.
* A strong operator with excellent financial acumen (P&L understanding, inventory control, labour management).
* A skilled communicator and motivator who leads by example.
* Highly organised, tech‑savvy, and proficient with reservation system and POS systems.
* Has a valid food safety certification and understands local health & safety regulations.
