As a people manager, you will elevate the performance and growth of your direct team and the broader CX organization. You will coach, develop, and inspire Solution Sales Executives while fostering a culture of collaboration across markets. You are expected to know your extended team, share insights with peer leaders, and role model SAP’s leadership principles in every interaction. In this role, you will lead the CX business for your region—driving ACV, pipeline generation, and profitability. You will instill world‑class sales discipline, drive ERP‑to‑CX co‑sell motions, and ensure customer adoption and expansion within SAP’s installed base. You will also serve as the primary escalation point for CX sales activities within the Market Unit Austria and the region CEE.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of CX Solution Sales Executives through recruiting, performance management, and ongoing 1:1 coaching.
Own regional CX performance, ensuring achievement of quarterly and annual ACV, pipeline, and profitability targets.
Build and manage a healthy, predictable pipeline; drive rigorous forecasting discipline and participate in regular business reviews.
Drive net‑new, upsell, and cross‑sell motions, partnering with Customer Success to ensure renewals and adoption.
Collaborate closely with ERP and Industry Sales Leaders to attach CX into the SAP base and expand into new logos.
Partner with Marketing, Pre‑Sales, and the Partner ecosystem to generate demand, increase market coverage, and accelerate deal cycles.
Inspect deals for quality, risk, and strategy, ensuring adherence to SAP’s sales excellence standards and continuous performance improvement.
Serve as the voice of the field—provide clear, data‑driven feedback on market trends, opportunities, and execution challenges to regional leadership.
Build and maintain executive relationships with Chief Digital, Marketing, and Customer Officers, positioning SAP as the trusted advisor for connected customer experiences.

Experience

3+ years of first‑line leadership managing enterprise SaaS sales teams.
9+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience, ideally across CRM, CX, martech, or e‑Commerce.
Proven record of exceeding quota and orchestrating complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
Deep process expertise across lead‑to‑cash, order‑to‑cash, and service‑to‑resolution.
Experience working with partners, digital agencies, and system integrators in the CX ecosystem.
Demonstrated success scaling customer footprint and market share profitably.

Education, Skills, And Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong command of forecasting, pipeline management, and deal inspection.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; executive presence with the ability to influence at C‑suite level.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; skilled at producing clear, data‑driven reports and presentations.
Collaborative, coachable, and effective in a matrixed, virtual environment.
Resilient under pressure, with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in long sales cycles.
Deep understanding of CX solutions and the ability to articulate value to measurable business outcomes.

Consistent attainment of ACV and pipeline targets with high forecast accuracy.
A cohesive, motivated sales team demonstrating continuous improvement and sales excellence.
Increased CX attach to SAP ERP and expansion within the installed base and new logos.
Strengthened executive networks that accelerate strategic deals and long‑term customer value.
