Overview
Operations & Integration Lead - Embedded Insurance (m/f/d) at UNIQA Insurance Group. This role works side by side with the Head of Embedded Insurance to drive strategic execution and operational excellence across UNIQA Group. The successful candidate will orchestrate cross-functional teams, ensure delivery of strategic milestones, and help position UNIQA as a leader in Embedded Insurance in CEE. Responsibilities
* Oversee and support the daily operations of Embedded Insurance, ensuring smooth and reliable execution across the value chain—from onboarding to claims—while aligning with strategic goals and the Digital Embedded Hub model.
* Manage relationships with external partners (e.g., TPAs), ensuring effective integration and operational readiness across countries and systems.
* Monitor key operational metrics (e.g., service levels, claims handling, partner performance), identify inefficiencies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and service quality.
* Define, implement, and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards for claims handling and partner performance to ensure consistent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Act as the operational liaison within the Embedded Insurance team (e.g., solutions, technology, growth), ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and integration requirements.
* Maintain comprehensive process documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards as well as regulatory requirements.
What we expect / Qualifications
* In-depth knowledge of insurance operational processes and proven process management experience.
* Demonstrated ability to manage partners and engage internal stakeholders effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
* Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German or another CEE language is a plus).
* Experience with technical solutions in operations and claims.
* Familiarity with integration processes and platform readiness.
* Proficiency in operational reporting, monitoring, and documentation.
