The Regional Sales Manager position has been created to support Oracle's investments in the Communications space, especially in the DACH region.
What You’ll Do
* Sell Oracle Communications Applications products in the DACH region, including cloud-native billing, rating solutions, and OSS solutions, directly or via partners.
* Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas for licenses and first-year maintenance.
* Develop awareness and a pipeline of opportunities for Oracle Communications’ products in the DACH region.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify expansion opportunities.
* Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions, leveraging Oracle’s installed base and end-to-end value propositions.
* Manage and close sales opportunities through strategic planning and execution.
* Maintain knowledge of Oracle Communications products, industry trends, competitors, and customer references.
* Present and sell opportunity-specific value propositions.
* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales.
* Identify strategic partnerships and third-party influencers.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven success in selling enterprise application software in the DACH telecom market, with DTAG experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of the DACH market, its drivers, and company strategies.
* Established relationships within customer organizations and influence on sales outcomes.
* Strong sales acumen and ability to develop a robust pipeline.
* Experience in engaging with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Track record of managing all sales cycle stages independently.
* Consistent achievement of sales quotas.
* Ability to utilize company resources effectively to close deals.
* At least 7 years of experience selling enterprise application software in BSS/OSS domains.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and fluency in German.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
