Business Development Manager
Austria, Vienna
Main Responsibilities
* Understanding and gaining insight into named account strategies, business development, and operations processes, steering potential requirements and influencing customers’ strategies, businesses, and operations regarding the PV energy area.
* Planning and implementing communications, understanding customer requirements, and guiding the customer requirements.
* Preparing tailored project proposals based on customer requirements.
* Presenting tailored solutions and the related explanations; conducting workshops with customers.
* Composing technical and commercial proposals for concrete projects.
* Planning, promoting, and implementing crucial projects.
* Establishing and strengthening relationships with the customer’s team to help extend sales.
* Demonstrating presentation and public speaking capabilities at marketing events.
Requirements
* Technical background in renewable energy.
* At least 2‑3 years of experience in the PV industry.
* Sales sense, able to develop sales opportunities.
* Deep understanding and experience in photovoltaic, inverters, and solar energy; familiar with mainstream vendors and their product & solution suite.
* Ability to develop sales projects independently.
* Experience in project bidding.
* Strong communication skills, teamwork spirit, and strong work responsibility.
* Fluent in German and English.
