**Job Introduction**
Frequentis Group, headquartered in Vienna, is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. We serve 500 customers worldwide, with 45,000 workstations, leveraging extensive experience and know-how.
Our 8-month trainee programme targets HTL and Bachelor graduates, as well as career changers with a focus on IT and network technology. The programme provides comprehensive insights, training, team exchanges, and rotations across various teams, culminating in a permanent employment contract and involvement in innovative projects like remote tower solutions. The programme begins in September 2025.
Key Tasks
During the Trainee Programme
* Participate in internal training on technologies, customer interaction, and Frequentis products, remotely or on-site.
* Rotate through different teams and contribute to implementing communication and information systems.
* Handle initial independent tasks such as configuration, testing, and system integration support.
* Possibly undertake business trips.
* Support system engineering teams with IT expertise.
Post-Programme Responsibilities
* Implement communication and information systems.
* Configure hardware and software components.
* Identify customer requirements and perform technical testing.
* Conduct system tests, fault isolation, and reporting.
* Participate in system integrations and customer acceptance globally.
Key Qualifications
* Completed HTL/college or bachelor's degree focusing on IT or network technology.
* Knowledge in Linux, Windows, virtualization, scripting, VoIP, and networks.
* First work experience and certifications (e.g., CCNA) are advantageous.
* Willingness to learn new technologies and face technical challenges.
* Good command of English and German; Spanish is a plus.
* Open-minded, quality-oriented, independent, and responsible working style.
* Willing to travel for customer acceptance (20-40% annually).
