These are exciting times and a great opportunity to join the business as it embarks on its national growth plans across Australia.About the Role:As the Regional Business Development Manager, you will bring your network, experience, bid and estimation support to build the southern region of Australia.This is a hands‑on role where you will be in front of potential customers and expanding existing customers' share of wallet; a subject matter expert supporting the bid and estimation teams.As the Regional GM of Business Development, you will oversee the development and execution of bids and lead generation to drive growth and enhance the group's market penetration. You will build trusted relationships with new clients before they go to market. You have all the market intel to strategise. Working closely with the executive leadership team, you'll lead efforts to secure new business while managing a team approach that generates bidding opportunities from targeted verticals.What you will be doing:Develop strong, strategic and longstanding relationships with new and prospective customers across NSW, Qld, NTBuild and manage the sales pipeline to ensure sufficient quality opportunities are being captured to meet the business's growth objectives. This includes managing prospect volumes, revenue values, and hitting annual targetsIdentify and secure new business opportunities in existing market segmentsIdentify opportunities and partnerships that provide sustainable margins to provide a premium value-added offeringWork closely with the operational teams to develop lead generation and new growth opportunities with existing clients.To be successful in this role:Proven experience in delivering large, high‑value, long‑term contracts, ideally within the facilities management space. Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in facilities management is required.Existing relationships with prospective client procurement and management teams.You MUST be a hunter, be very comfortable reaching out to new business, and love building trusted relationships to drive sales. You're articulate and confident, presenting at board level and having mature conversations providing solutions to problems.Experienced and confident in dealing with sometimes difficult stakeholders within customers' businesses at all levels.You're a great team player with high EQ and understand the internal workings and bring out the best in support teams. You love helping others.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead by exampleStrategic thinker with a results‑driven mindset.
