Responsibilities
* Design and implementation of university courses in physics teacher training (physics didactics)
* Networking with schools, universities, teacher-colleges and school administration (local, ESVO and nationally)
* Participation in the research-based development of course formats and the curriculum of physics teacher education (PädagogInnenbildung)
* Participation in research projects and development projects
* Participation in organisational and administrative tasks and the further development of the Fachdidaktikzentrum Physik
* (Co-)supervision and coordination of student labs and workshops
* Supervision of relevant bachelor's theses and Co-supervision of master's theses
* Coordination and alignment of course content and concepts for parallel courses at the University of Teacher Education Styria (PHStmk); communication/coordination in the context of internships
Profile
* Teaching degree in physics at the level of secondary schools (Diploma degree, master's degree or comparable degree)
* Several years of teaching experience in upper secondary schools in the subject Physics as well as a current teaching obligation at an AHS or BHS in the subject Physics
* Constant praticipation in professional developmentment and training activities in the field of physics education and Engdidactics
* Involment in additional didactic and educational activities in the field of physics (e.g. in the context of training programs, job-related networks, teaching projects or school development projects, articles for (teacher) magazines, teaching aids or the like.)
* Profound knowledge of German and English
* Very good IT skills and pleasure in using digital tools in the field of virtual teaching
* High degree of social and communicative competence and organisation skills
* Pleasure in research-based developments and dealing with students
* Experience in teaching at university level (preferred)

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,865.40 for a full-time position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
