We are seeking a Senior Data & Process Developer who serves as a critical bridge among business stakeholders in finance and accounting, IT, and data governance to ensure comprehensive system solutions that align processes, data, and people. This role transforms business requirements in finance and accounting into detailed, system-based concepts (BSS) that serve as the foundation for technical implementation. Close collaboration with IT ensures alignment on financial processes, accounting workflows, and data flows.

Responsibilities
* Independently manage and deliver projects with an end-to-end perspective, identifying cross-functional and financial dependencies.
* Align business needs and financial objectives across multiple stakeholders and document requirements as Business Scope Statements (BSS).
* Collaborate with IT to ensure alignment on financial processes, accounting workflows, and data flows.
* Manage and coach project resources; oversee solution testing for quality assurance; ensure accuracy of technical and financial documentation.
* Transfer finalised processes and system solutions to data governance teams.
* Provide guidance on core processes in finance and accounting operations; design user-focused documentation; lead change management initiatives to drive adoption.
* Ensure high-quality outcomes that are strategically aligned with business, financial, and organisational goals.
Project/Process Development Focus
* Design and implement innovative system solutions by gathering, analysing, and challenging business, finance, and operational requirements.
* Translate complex business needs into detailed, system-based concepts (BSS) and define project scope, structure BSS documentation, allocate work packages, and ensure delivery of high-quality requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to secure alignment and provide strategic input during senior management steering meetings.
Project Management
* Oversee projects of high complexity, developing and executing comprehensive project plans that align with end-to-end process and data flow designs.
* Manage dependencies across multiple teams and systems; set realistic timelines; track progress and budgets; facilitate workshops and drive innovation.
* Identify bottlenecks, resolve conflicts, and escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
Change Management & Content Support
* Act as a trusted partner for subsidiaries and headquarters; provide expert-level support for end-to-end processes and data integration across Finance, Operations, and Sales.
* Mentor colleagues, guide adoption of end-to-end integration, and lead cross-functional discussions and change initiatives to improve data quality and workflows.
Testing, Documentation & Handover
* Ensure end-to-end solution testing and quality through detailed test planning and execution; define test plans; manage bug resolution; coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Oversee handover of finalised processes and system solutions to data/process governance; ensure internal documentation is accurate and comprehensive.
* Lead training sessions and workshops for Global, End, and Key Users; develop and execute communication plans to support system adoption.
Knowledge & Experience
* Extensive Project Management experience; skilled in structuring, facilitating, and leading meetings/workshops to align stakeholders and achieve outcomes.
* Experience leading complex end-to-end process design and conceptual discussions to streamline workflows and deliver innovative solutions.
* Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end processes in Finance (Operations and Sales is a plus); experience in FMCG; proficient with SAP ERP FI/CO, Arriba, X-Suite, BIS, Provisions & Payables, E-invoicing, EDI Interfaces, Liquidity Forecast, and related data structures.
* Ability to gather, challenge, and translate business requirements into system integration concepts.
* Creative problem-solving, adaptability, system affinity, and holistic thinking.
* Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; capable of working under pressure and independently.
* End-to-End Operations know-how; FMCG experience preferred.
Due to legal requirements, we disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position: EUR 3,471 gross per month. Our compensation package is market-oriented and often above the stated minimum.
