Do you have a deep understanding of how software and hardware interact, think systematically, and want to contribute to forward-looking solutions that are used worldwide? For the further development of our software solutions, we are looking for a development engineer with technical vision, a passion for complex systems, and the desire to help shape quality in a sustainable way.
* Selecting and evaluating suitable hardware platforms for AVL software products
* Assessing the impact of MS Windows upgrades on AVL software solutions
* Developing robust concepts to minimize potential upgrade impacts
* Analyzing and integrating I/O cards, monitors, and external components
* Creating, maintaining, and testing workstation images, including silent installation processes
* Analysis of customer-specific IT requirements
* Technical interface to hardware suppliers, sales, and project management
* Completed education (University or Technical College, Technical University, or equivalent) with a focus on telematics, computer science, software design, or a related field
* At least 3 years of professional experience and extensive knowledge in the field of information technology
* Practical knowledge of Intel workstation hardware
* Knowledge of automated installation of MS Windows and development technologies C# and .Net
* Expertise in the interaction between computer hardware, drivers, and real-time operating systems
* Business fluent knowledge in German and English
