The SAP Commerce (Hybris) Backend Developer works alongside front-end developers to create the online shop. They are specialized in SAP Commerce Cloudand tailor this platform to fullfill our requirements. The SAP Commerce (Hybris) Backend Developer work as a crossfunctional team together with the other roles to make high-quality software with short feedback cycles available to customers as quickly as possible.
SAP Commerce (Hybris) Backend Developer (w/m/d)
* Conceptualize, develop, maintain, and operate web applications, including adapting and extending SAP Commerce Cloud.
* Implement complex back-end features and technical solutions in alignment with Solution Architects.
* Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
* Write maintainable, performant, stable, and well-documented code and contribute to establishing coding standards.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
* Plan, execute, and automate testing processes (unit tests, automated tests, and feature testing).
* Analyze, debug, and fix bugs, perform code reviews, and suggest technological solutions to complex problems.
* Participate in agile ceremonies and support requirements gathering, user stories, estimations, and mentoring of junior team members.
* 5+ years of professional Java experience, with advanced expertise in Spring and SAP Commerce Cloud.
* Strong knowledge of RESTful web services, relational databases, and common ORM frameworks.
* Solid security proficiency, especially in API security.
* Experience with build and automation tools.
* Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies and languages, especially Golang.
* Capable of mentoring junior developers.
