Job Responsibilities
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to create a training and verification database from historical full-vehicle geometry data. You will work with external geometries for external aerodynamics and internal geometry for cabin flow. The database will be used in several projects to train AI models for geometry preparation (AI model training and validation are not in scope of this thesis). The dataset will be split into a training set and a verification set.
* Collect historical geometry data (CAD and mesh data)
* Separate the dataset into training and verification data
* Prepare and organize the dataset in a logical way
* Ensure identical data quality and preparation for all vehicles
* Document all work, including conclusions and recommendations for application
Qualifications
* Currently studying a bachelor’s degree with a technical focus
* Relevant experience through internships or study projects is beneficial
* Knowledge of handling CAD or tessellated data is an advantage
* Basic knowledge of ANSA is an advantage
* Knowledge and experience in 3D simulation (CFD or FEM) is helpful but not required
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong interest in the automotive industry
* High level of helpfulness and excellent communication skills
