As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models, as well as integrating AI technologies into various internal applications and existing software products. Your work will contribute to automating tasks, enhancing decision-making, and driving innovation in automotive engineering, simulation, validation, and testing systems.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop AI models and algorithms: Design, build, and train machine learning models to solve specific problems, including supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, and deep learning models.
2. Design and implement agents using frameworks like Semantic.Kernel or LangChain.
3. Model optimization: Tune and optimize machine learning models for efficiency, performance, and scalability.
4. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to integrate AI models into product solutions and applications.
5. Testing and validation: Ensure AI models are robust, accurate, and scalable through rigorous testing and validation.
6. Deployment: Deploy AI models into product environments, ensuring seamless integration and monitoring, including deployment into internal product development processes.
7. Problem-solving: Use AI tools and techniques to address business-specific problems, such as automation, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
YOUR PROFILE:
1. Completed education (University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences, or comparable) with a focus on AI, computer science, software development, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of professional experience in AI and machine learning algorithms.
3. Proficiency in one or more common programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, C++, C), with Python and C# preferred.
4. Familiarity with deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc.) and natural language processing (NLP, especially LLMs).
5. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Workflows, Microsoft Azure DevOps).
6. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
7. Knowledge of database systems and SQL for handling large datasets.
8. Business-fluent English; good knowledge of German is an advantage.

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, the gross annual salary for this full-time position is €53,500.00, which is a basis for negotiation. The employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Automotive Industry). We will offer a market-conforming salary considering qualifications and experience.
