Head of Income Statement & Commercial Finance

Reporting To: Global Head of FP&A, Robotics.
Position Overview: You will be a key pillar in the FP&A organization, taking end‑to‑end responsibility for the Division’s Income Statement and working closely with the company’s CEO, CFO, and commercial leaders. You will own the full P&L — from topline to EBIT — ensuring robust forecasting, insightful analysis, and transparency of business performance. You will develop and maintain consistent frameworks, models, and tools that support decision‑making across business lines and geographies. You will also lead global commercial finance initiatives, collaborating with sales, pricing, and business line controllers to drive profitable growth.
Work Model: Hybrid. Preferred Location: Europe.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
* Income Statement Ownership: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and actual reporting for the full P&L.
* Performance Analysis: Drive root‑cause and trend analysis for revenue, gross margin, and operational EBITA.
* Commercial Finance Leadership: Support pricing, margin management, and commercial decision‑making with models that improve visibility on pipeline conversion, price and mix sensitivity and profitability.
* Frameworks & Governance: Define and maintain global frameworks for commercial finance, orders booking and margin reporting; ensure consistent application of accounting and reporting rules.
* Process & Systems: Improve forecasting accuracy through standardized templates, driver‑based models, and system integration.
* Business Partnering: Collaborate with commercial and operational leaders to optimize performance, identify improvement actions, and ensure alignment with financial targets.
Qualifications For The Role
* University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with at least 10‑12 years of international finance/FP&A experience.
* At least 5 years of FP&A income statement, budgeting, and forecasting experience, managing multi‑billion global P&Ls, with prior involvement in spin‑offs, carve‑outs, IPO readiness, or major finance transformation projects being a plus.
* Strong proficiency in finance systems and reporting tools, with solid knowledge of internal controls, and US GAAP/IFRS.
* Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to act as a trusted business partner, challenge stakeholders constructively, and work effectively in a fast‑paced, transformational environment; fluent in English.
