This role is essential for developing, maintaining, and improving direct customer relationships in the southern DACH region (south Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for the Reliability Solutions (RS) Business Unit (BU). The successful candidate will interact with both new and existing accounts, positioning the Emerson RS portfolio as the first choice for customers in these areas and establishing long-term, profitable relationships. Frequent travel within the designated area and the wider DACH region will be required to build relationships with additional branches and offices of the assigned accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Achieving and exceeding sales, bookings, and gross profit targets for the RS Group’s products, services, and solutions within the defined area and accounts.
2. Visiting new and existing customers to promote the entire solution portfolio and services, seeking out new business opportunities.
3. Following strategic goals and initiatives from the RS BU to build credibility, forge strong relationships, and gain insights into the customer’s business to drive portfolio adoption.
4. Discussing discount, price, and volume structures with customer contacts.
5. Collaborating with the existing sales force and business development teams across all BUs to identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
6. Providing competitive, technical, and commercial input for proposals and supporting the proposal process.
7. Utilizing sales productivity tools like CRM, DMS, and Decision Support Tool effectively, including delivering accurate order forecasts and managing opportunities.

You are proactive in identifying future policies, practices, and market trends, applying a business-driven and marketplace-focused approach. You tailor your communication style to diverse audiences, encourage the expression of diverse ideas, and serve as a strategic partner to build and maintain profitable, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* University degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field
* Previous experience in sales or account management
* Knowledge of the process industry and B2B sales
* Proven ability to develop and implement Strategic Account Plans and achieve strong results
* Fluent in German and English
* Proficient in MS Office tools
* Willingness to travel approximately 60-70%
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional education in business administration
* Knowledge or experience in Condition Monitoring and/or Plant Asset Management
* Experience with CRM systems
