In this pivotal role, you will lead the evolution of our quality management systems - ensuring they not only meet but exceed expectations. You will also play a key part in shaping and executing Atomic’s mid and long-term sustainability strategy, working closely with product development, procurement, and global supply chain partners to drive meaningful change across the industry.
What you will be doing:
* Develop and document technical specifications and quality standards for ski helmets, ski goggles, poles, and body protectors
* Plan and execute regular product quality tests to ensure alignment with defined quality criteria
* Continuously monitor relevant technical norms and standards, ensuring full compliance across all product categories
* Foster ongoing collaboration with internal teams and external supply chain partners to drive continuous improvement in both process and product quality
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed group-wide and brand-specific sustainability strategies into product development workflows
* Perform environmental impact assessments and pinpoint opportunities for sustainable innovation
* Stay on top of industry trends and emerging best practices in sustainability, ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards
Your profile and required competencies:
* University degree in mechanical engineering, Sports Technology, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Proven experience in quality and sustainability practices, technologies, and regulatory compliance - ideally within the sporting goods industry
* Genuine passion for quality, sustainability, and innovation
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
* Excellent project management skills with a high sense of ownership and accountability
* Proficient in MS Office; experience with quality management or sustainability/ESG software is a plus
* Business-fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
* Self-motivated, well-organized team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset
* Strong communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners, including overseas development and supply chain teams
