Overview
We are looking for a Linux Administrator to join MERKUR BETS Sports Betting. The role focuses on planning, operating and optimizing hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-premises) with an emphasis on automation, security and scalability.
Responsibilities
* Plan, operate and monitor hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-premises)
* Develop and document best practice procedures for deployment and maintenance
* Drive continuous monitoring and optimisation of system performance and resource usage
* Increase automation and shift to infrastructure as code
* Containerize and automate workflows and products
* Strengthen overall security, especially endpoint protection
* Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively enhance infrastructure efficiency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable architectures
Your Qualifications
* Experienced in supporting operational server systems
* LPIC, Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications preferred
* Solid IT infrastructure knowledge; interest in Kubernetes or configuration management specialization
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
* Advanced Linux skills
* Proficient in English, conversational German advantageous
