Role Overview

We're looking for a Training Coordinator to oversee the organizational training strategy for our operations team and assess its impact. You'll identify training and developmental needs to drive training initiatives that build loyalty to the company while working across departments to get the team up to speed in their specific vertical. The ideal candidate will enhance the team's skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work.


Main Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination:

1. Coordinate the training schedule and training calendar with all MP trainers
2. Coordinate with trainers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure availability and alignment with training objectives and training-related projects
3. Collaborate closely with HR and ensure each team member has their passport
4. Responsible in updating the onboarding and planned calendar for all team members


Participant Management:

5. Ensure new joiners are following the training schedule as per the training calendar
6. Update and assist trainers in quiz and survey links and coordinate with the Training Team
7. Attend all meetings related to training topics
8. Responsible for giving the knowledge assessment exam during probation or if needed
9. Responsible for conducting quarterly knowledge assessments for all Junior Team Members
10. Conduct or assist in train-the-trainer sessions with the help of other stakeholders

Administrative Tasks:

11. Design and prepare Training tools like curriculum, SOPs, or presentations
12. Ensure training materials, such as session slides, quizzes, and surveys, are prepared for the trainers
13. Prepare training-related documentation, such as training agendas, handouts, and certificates.
14. Handle post-training tasks, such as compiling feedback from participants and trainers
15. Responsible for updating the profile and training progress for each team member on the Digital Passport

Communication:

16. Coordinate with Training Manager, or other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and training needs.
17. Collaborate with HR in making sure that new joiners are encoded on the System
18. Collaborate with the Training Managers, Operations Team and Cross-Functional Teams on other SOPs that need to be documented
19. Serve as a liaison between trainers, trainees, and other stakeholders.

Evaluation and Reporting:

20. Assist in identifying training needs and gaps within operations
21. Collect feedback from trainees and trainers each session to evaluate training effectiveness. (Post-survey Evaluation)
22. Analyze training data and prepare reports on key metrics such as participant satisfaction, learning outcomes, and training impact on employee's skills and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator)
23. Make recommendations for improvements based on evaluation results

Monitoring and Tracking:

24. Monitor and update training progress in the implementation plan
25. Assist or create Training Visuals such as PowerPoint presentations, etc.
26. Regularly check all updates for all operational-related SOPs. Schedule a Document Audit if needed
27. Responsible for controlling, organizing, and storing all training passports
28. Record all completed training sessions by stamping and stickering each team member's training passport

Ideal Candidate

29. With a background in the Food / Bulk Cooking Industry of at least 1- 2 years
30. Experience in Training Coordinator or similar role at least 1-3 years
31. Result- Oriented / Result- Driven
32. Able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
33. Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy of information in the training materials and other training resources
34. Enjoys learning and is committed to continuous improvement/development

Knowledge & Competency

35. Adaptability and Flexibility. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust training plans based on feedback or changing training needs.
36. Strong organizational skills
37. Able to work on multiple projects, and work with tight deadlines
38. Technology Proficiency and familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides / PowerPoint, and Google Forms
39. Experience with training apps and other training platforms is a major plus
