Key Responsibilities:
* Periodic review of customer classification (retail customer/professional customer/eligible counterparty), including performance of the MiFID appropriateness check.
* Serve as the back office primary point of contact for MiFID related operational topics of the Bybit EU platform.
* Liaise with internal departments such as Compliance and Customer Support to facilitate timely and coordinated case handling of MiFID related topics.
* Monitoring of timely and proper EMIR transaction reporting
* Daily monitoring of EMIR transaction reports to the transaction register (DTCC), including pairing/matching quotas.
* Clarification and correction of rejections/unmatched trades; coordination of late registrations and cancellations.
* Control of UTI and UPI allocation, LEI validity, collateral/valuation notifications and lifecycle events.
* Preparation of regular management reports, KPI tracking and performance of random checks.
* Manage the oversight and control of the full lifecycle of regulatory reporting.
* Oversee the daily PRIIP KID production and ensure proper escalation to ensure its availability and validity
* Operational monitoring of the process for creating/updating KIDs (schedules, responsibilities, approvals).
* Checking completeness/formalities (language versions, cost indicators, performance scenarios, SRI) and correct publication/distribution.
* Tracking regulatory updates (Level 2 RTS) and coordinating implementation with the product/legal department.
* Maintaining the KID register, including version and validity management.
* Regular cost control and support for the finance department.
* Support with audits/inspections (internal, supervisory, auditors).
Requirements:
* Completed commercial or technical school education with a technical affinity
* A profound knowledge of MiFID II and its implementation in Austria, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.
* At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in compliance at a bank or investment firm.
* Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
* Able to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
* This position is preferably based in Austria, Vienna
