MAXXOM Automation, based in Oberhofen am Irrseek in Upper Austria, specialises in innovative solutions for high-speed automation. The automation systems are currently used in the automotive, electrical, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical industries as well as in medical technology. MAXXOM Automation GmbH (50 employees), a subsidiary of Pollmann International GmbH with more than 1,300 employees, is looking for further qualified team members who enjoy technology and new challenges.
Your area of responsibility includes:
Development and implementation of purchasing strategies in a project-oriented environment
Conducting market and cost analyses and deriving appropriate measures
Selection, qualification and management of strategic suppliers
Preparation and conduct of contract and price negotiations
Close coordination with project teams, engineering, and internal departments
Ensuring that purchasing meets schedule, cost, and quality targets
Further development of purchasing processes and standards
What we expect:
Completed technical or commercial training with a technical background
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in plant engineering or project management
Strong technical understanding and experience working with technical specifications
Excellent, business-fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
Very good communication and presentation skills
Autonomous, well-structured, and goal-oriented way of working
