ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Indigeco is supporting a major federal Government organisation in sourcing multiple APS6 Finance Business Partners for a labour-hire contract within a high-performing finance team. These roles suit experienced finance professionals who enjoy partnering with stakeholders, improving financial processes, and providing high quality budgeting, forecasting and reporting support across complex portfolios.
This opportunity is open to Australian citizens only. Applicants must hold an active Baseline security clearance (or higher).
ABOUT THE COMPANY

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support business stakeholders to manage financial resources in the short and longer term, ensuring financial sustainability
* Provide finance advice on budget development, forecasting, and regular reporting in line with financial policies
* Partner with stakeholders to develop and update monthly forecasts, including operating and staffing
* Prepare financial reports for senior executives, including analysis of monthly financial results
* Complete end of month activities including journals and variance commentary for departmental and administered programs
* Support cost centre maintenance and budget transfers, including changes due to business restructures
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
* Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial management roles
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
* High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality outcomes
* Strong organisation and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and elevate risks early
* Ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support a range of requests
* High professional integrity aligned to APS Values and the APS Code of Conduct
* Australian Citizenship and current Baseline clearance (required)
