For the area of Global Quality and PSRA Management located in Lenzing, we invite Regulatory experts to submit applications for the role of Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Leader.
The Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) function at Lenzing Group plays a crucial role in providing global governance, assurance, service, and support for all aspects of product safety and compliance with legal and certification requirements. Overall, the PSRA department is integral to maintaining the high standards of product safety and sustainability that Lenzing Group is known for.
Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:
1. Control and manage regulatory strategies for the global product safety and regulatory process to deliver a competitive and safe target product profile.
2. Lead and develop the product safety & regulatory affairs team, with overall accountability for their performance.
3. Establish regulatory and product safety priorities or budgets, and allocate resources and workloads to cross-functional partners and customers at global, regional, and local levels.
4. Manage the certification portfolio and new certification requests to demonstrate the safety and compliance of Lenzing fibers for their intended use.
5. Interact with national and international agencies, external certification bodies, and associations (e.g., EDANA working groups, FSC, PEFC, FKT, etc.).
6. Develop, maintain, and disseminate high-quality documents for product safety and regulatory compliance.
Our expectations for this exciting role:
1. Advanced degree in natural/technical sciences, ideally in chemistry, biology, or a related field, with a strong background in regulatory affairs and product safety.
2. Exceptional knowledge of global legislation, regulations, standards, and norms applicable to cellulosic fibers and products, concerning product, process, and environmental safety.
3. Extensive experience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
4. Proactive monitoring of industry developments, especially related to textile and nonwoven fibers and components.
5. Strong personal skills for building internal and external stakeholder relationships.
6. Minimum C2 English skills; knowledge of German, Bahasa Indonesian, and/or Chinese is a plus.
