The following position is available to strengthen our team of the Department for Evidence-based Medicine and Evaluation at the Faculty of Health and Medicine:
Scientific Project Assistant - Praedoc (m/f/d)
30 hrs./week

* Collaboration in the preparation of rapid reviews for the Evidence-based Information Centre for Nurses ( https://ebninfo.at/ )
* Formulation of scientific questions in consultation with the requesting healthcare professionals
* Orientation and rough searches in databases for requests
* Study selection, assessment of methodological quality and synthesis of studies with qualitative and quantitative designs
* Assessment of the reliability of the evidence using GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation)
* Preparation of reports in the form of rapid reviews or study lists
* Possibility of collaboration on systematic reviews and methodological studies
* Collaboration in the JBI - Austrian Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare
* Independent lecturing and teaching
* Publication activities
Your profile
We require evidence of the following qualifications for the application:
* Completed university degree in the healthcare sector (at least Master's/Diploma), or comparable degree, ideally in the field of nursing science or ‘Advanced Nursing Practice’
* Excellent German (C2) and very good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
* Good understanding of the principles of evidence-based nursing
* Interest in international scientific work
* Communication and teamwork skills
In addition, the following criteria are desirable:
* Completed training in healthcare and nursing
* Several years of practical experience in clinics or care facilities
* Experience in the preparation of evidence syntheses

* Part-time position (30 hours/week) initially limited until 31 December 2026
* Minimum salary of EUR 3,714.80 gross per month (14x) on a full-time basis
