The Supply Chain Capability Development Manager is accountable for designing, embedding, and continuously evolving the capability system that enables CCH’s footprint to deliver step-change improvements in Supply Chain performance. Spanning all Supply Chain sub-functions, the role drives the development of critical technical capabilities that underpin operational excellence and future readiness.
Success in the role is defined not by training activity, but by tangible business impact—ensuring critical roles are ready to perform and that capability development translates into measurable improvements across key Supply Chain KPIs, including service level excellence (SLE), quality, safety, cost efficiency, DIFOT, NPS, and the advancement of future-focused Supply Chain capabilities.
In this exciting role you will
Own the SC Capability Framework Build, refresh and embed an integrated capability framework across all SC sub-functions — common SC Capability competency model, proficiency levels, development standard
Drive Critical-Role Development Pathways Design and deliver immersive, work-based development pathways for SC critical roles (Plant Manager, Production Manager, Shift Leader, Planner, Logistics TL, Procurement and QSE leads)
Re-engineer the SC Academy Refresh the SC Academy, so it is performance-linked: each curriculum stream anchored to hard SC Capabilities. Embed digital/Lean and data fluency as a core stream
Lead the SC strand of SWP 2026+ Translate Strategic Workforce Planning (SC Capabilities part) into concrete action plans working with BUs for critical and pivotal role
Steward BU SC Capability Managers Coach the BU SC Capability community; run a sharp network rhythm with impact
Link capability to business performance Build the line of sight from capability waves to SC KBI movement. Publish a plant- and BU-level capability dashboard. Embed capability metrics into the SC BPM cycle
You can be successful in this role if you have
8–10+ years FMCG / beverages / process; substantive SC career across ≥2 sub-functions
Manufacturing leadership exposure strongly preferred (Plant Manager / Production Manager / Mfg. Excellence)
Track record of leading capability or operational excellence at scale across multiple sites / countries
Internal CCH appointment preferred
