What you will be working on:
You are responsible for establishing and leading the research focus in „Digital Health Computing, „specifically targeting the intersection of human behavior and digital intervention
Along with other seniors and leaders, you will actively shape the Center for Digital Health and Social Innovation (CDHSI) by providing strategic direction for inter disciplinary research
You are responsible for supporting junior researchers in their professional development
You will initiate and manage pioneering research focusing on non-invasive digital biomarkers such as eye tracking, galvanic skin response, biomechanical and activity-related measurements in real-world and mixed reality scenarios
You will engage in high-level knowledge transfer between academia and industry and take on relevant teaching responsibilities
What we expect from you:
A PhD (or an internationally comparable qualification) with a strong interest and capabilities in building data pipelines for wearable sensors and behavioral feed back systems
Several years of postdoc research experience in interdisciplinary teams, with a focus on Digital Health, Smart Technologies, Human-Centered AI/ML & Data Science or similar
An internationally recognized publication record in areas such as Human-Computer Interaction, Mobile & Wearable Computing, Mixed Reality & Activity Recognition
Proven success in the acquisition and management of multi-year, third-party funded research projects
Excellent connections within the international scientific community and with partners in the industry and social sectorsExcellent English language skills / willingness to learn German (for applicants whose native language is not German)
