Fresenius Kabi has recently undergone a transformation focusing on excellence in technical operations and the establishment of a global Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) organization, with teams in hubs around the world. This role centers on ensuring new product launches are technically sound from the first time and continuously innovating to improve products throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Ensure CMC development, scale‑up and launches are executed on a rigorous and reliable pathway by ensuring smooth interfaces between all associated functions.
* Provide data‑driven insights to analyze and change manufacturing processes, unlocking opportunities for optimization, reliability and efficiency.
* Be a recognized thought leader, leveraging your in‑depth knowledge to guide the launch, transfer, and lifecycle management of pharma products.
* Standardize processes, align technologies, de‑risk and optimize material usage globally; enhance consistency and integration across production sites.
* Build meaningful cross‑functional relationships, foster alignment, drive progress, and actively share knowledge to keep global teams interconnected, informed, and empowered.
* Set clear goals and vision in accordance with the overall vision and mission of MS&T and coordinate resource allocation (people, costs, investments).
Qualifications
* Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) that demonstrates readiness to lead at a global scale.
* Extensive experience in manufacturing injectable, sterile fluids and quality control processes, as well as formulation/stability of complex mixtures and packaging formats, scale‑up and transfers and related QC methods.
* Global perspective: demonstrated success collaborating in multi‑cultural, globally distributed teams with adaptability and strategic alignment to diverse regional priorities.
* Regulatory mastery: advanced knowledge of GMP and ISO standards with a track record of ensuring compliance while driving process innovation.
* Leadership in transformation: history of leading transformative projects in MS&T, showcasing ability to build and inspire high‑performing teams while driving organizational change.
* Advanced communication skills: fluency in English at an advanced level; additional language skills such as German, Spanish, Portuguese, or Hindi are a plus.
* Interpersonal and strategic skills: exceptional ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders, and lead by example with sound decision‑making and innovative problem‑solving capabilities.
* The position requires regular travel on a global scale.
