Overview
Researcher Career Development Coordinator — University of Vienna. You contribute to the Professional and Career Development offer for Postdocs, develop innovative formats, and collaborate with internal and external partners in a dynamic, international team. Your work supports the university as an attractive research and teaching venue and a partner for science and industry.
Responsibilities
* Be part of the Nachwuchsförderung team within the DLE and collaborate with colleagues from the DLE and other university units, as well as external and international partners.
* Advise scientists, particularly postdocs, on career options and application strategies, including CV checks and mock interviews.
* Manage multiple communication channels in collaboration with the team.
* Develop and organize targeted trainings, workshops, and more complex special programs.
* Establish and maintain contacts with industry and business partners to create exchange- and cooperation formats.
* Contribute to the conception and implementation of network and career events.
* Develop new formats and services to continuously improve career support for postdocs.
Qualifications
* Completed university degree with several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in recruiting, personnel development, HR, or an equivalent career development role in industry.
* Experience in advising and the ability to support different target groups in a tailored manner.
* Enjoy networking, strong communication skills, and willingness to organize events.
* Structured, independent work style with readiness to learn new topics; willingness to take responsibility.
* Comfortable in a project-oriented, dynamic work environment and able to perform under pressure.
* English at C2 level and good German communication skills.
* Solid digital competencies (MS Office, digital collaboration tools) and openness to using new technologies.
