Within our forecast & replenishment team we are responsible for the goods supply in Austria and eight CEE countries. Based on our AI solutions we predict future demands alongside the supply chain and aim to fully automate the store ordering process. Job Description
* Responsible for the lifecycle software development in the context of supply chain forecasting and optimization with well‑designed, efficient and testable code.
* Design and build scalable products in an international context together with your team.
* Help shape our technical landscape together with our Solution Architects.
* Provide technical guidance and coaching for team members.
* Promote knowledge transfer and documentation standards.
Qualifications
* Completed technical education with a focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification.
* Proven years of experience as a data engineer, preferably with Snowflake and PostgreSQL background.
* Strong emphasis in cloud computing and architecture in general (Google Cloud, Docker, Kafka).
* Knowledge of Java backend development with Spring Boot.
* Team player who likes to share and discuss ideas and is willing to make technical decisions.
* Familiar with agile working methods and principles would be beneficial.
* B2 English proficiency; German is a plus.
