As the Probes & Emerging Technology Lead FP&A Analyst, you will lead and support various analysis, reporting, and planning activities for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Finance responsibilities, including closing, reporting, and forecasting for the Probes and Emerging Technology organizations.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Serve as a key business partner to the Probes & Emerging Technology finance and operating teams, managing dedicated reporting activities including data collection, understanding key drivers versus budget, prior quarter, and prior year, and reporting to our HQ team.
* Support the annual budgeting and 3-year long-term strategy and financial plan to achieve organic growth, margin, and cash targets in line with business expectations.
* Partner with product leadership team to prioritize R&D projects and manage spend. This includes New Product Introduction (NPI) business case evaluation ongoing maintenance, and product profitability analysis to optimize return on investment.
* Partner with Operations to create and deliver annual variable cost productivity (VCP) target and support annual costing process.
* Work with manufacturing plants and sourcing to manage product end of life and minimize parts obsolescence.
* Partner with operations team to set up and maintain reporting infrastructure including global product hierarchy (OPH), general ledger hierarchy (DRM) and labor tool reporting (LTR) to support financial analysis that aligns with monthly operating rhythm.
* Assist Probes & Emerging Technology Finance and operational teams in monthly Operating Mechanisms by ensuring consistent data and enhancing existing reporting capabilities for actuals and key KPIs.
* Emphasize building standard work for internal and recurring analysis and HQ submissions, leveraging systems expertise and AI tools.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
* Significant operating finance experience and rigor.
* Ability to manage multiple high-priority and high-visibility deliverables.

* Thrives in a fast-paced, highly visible, intellectually challenging environment.
* Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, PBI), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g., pivot tables, VLookup, Macros).
* Adaptable/Flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or working in ambiguous situations.
* Contributes to the success and foundations of a first-time public company.
* Strong critical thinking and ability to challenge the status quo.
* Experience working in a matrixed environment.
