We are seeking an experienced and dedicated academic leader to join our team as Senior Lecturer in IT and Campus Coordinator in our Perth Campus.
Role Overview
This dual role combines academic leadership in teaching and learning with campus‑level operational coordination. The successful candidate will contribute to high‑quality IT education while ensuring smooth academic operations and a positive student and staff experience on campus.
Academic Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials, and assessments across Bachelor of IT and Master of IT programs especially in AI and Cybersecurity.
* Lead curriculum development, unit coordination, and continuous improvement aligned with industry standards.
* Supervise student research and capstone projects.
* Conduct scholarly and industry‑engaged research/innovation activities.
* Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to academic governance committees.
Campus Coordination Responsibilities
* Oversee daily academic operations on campus in collaboration with the Dean.
* Provide academic leadership and support to students, ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Coordinate timetables, teaching allocations, and staff availability.
* Manage campus events, orientation, and stakeholder engagement.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (TEQSA, ACS, internal QA systems).
* Liaise with administrative teams to support student services and operational efficiency.
Selection Criteria
* PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience teaching at tertiary level with strong student outcomes.
* Evidence of curriculum development and academic leadership.
* Strong research track record or industry‑engaged scholarship.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage people, processes, and academic operations effectively.
* Experience in campus coordination, program leadership, or academic administration.
* Experience working with diverse student cohorts, including international students.
* Familiarity with TEQSA standards and quality assurance processes.
