Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
* Hold a Master’s degree in psychology, cognitive science, economics, business, or a related field
* Are interested in at least one of the following areas: decision
making, information processing, cooperation, trust, bounded ethicality,
or process tracing
* Have a strong background (or willingness to strengthen their skills) in experimental social science methods and statistics
* Are highly motivated to contribute to the interdisciplinary agenda of the Institute for Cognition and Behavior
* Are fluent in English and ideally also proficient in German
* Are curious, well-organized, collaborative, and eager to learn
* Have experience with or interest in multimedia teaching formats
About the Institute
You will join the Institute for Cognition and Behavior, which explores how people make decisions, update beliefs, and cooperate with others. Our interdisciplinary team conducts lab and field experiments, often using eye-tracking and process tracing, to study real-world behavior in areas such as:
* Economic and moral decision-making
* Inequality & discrimination
* Behavioral interventions and public policy
* Trust, fairness, and cooperation
* Cognitive biases and belief updating
* Open science and research transparency
