We value authenticity because diverse backgrounds, cultures, styles and abilities can only help us find the answers that people with rare tumors are looking for.As the (Senior) Medical Science Liaison for our newly acquired company, SpringWorks, you will play a pivotal role in driving operations and strategicgrowth within your designated country or cluster.The (Senior) Medical Science Liaison, (hereafter (Sr.) MSL) will be responsible for managing a company product(s) within a defined territory. This entails establishingand maintaining key scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within their territory and serving as a scientific expert to the medical community andfacilitating the appropriate exchange of scientific information.Key expectations include the Sr. MSL being able to develop and maintain an advanced scientific, medical, and product knowledge base, ability to communicate keyinsights learned, and disseminate critical scientific data to external stakeholders; including but not limited to academic/scientific/clinical experts and patient organizations.The (Sr.) MSL will be responsible for ensuring timely and appropriate input on the field medical engagement plans in support of our clinical development and commercialization programs and activities. In addition, the (Sr.) MSL will assist, lead, and drive the support of the company's clinical trials in partnership with theclinical development team and with researchers as appropriate.The (Sr.) MSL will be expected to master the MSL responsibilities and be able to take on additional leadership roles on projects and initiatives within the country orregion. The (Sr.) MSL will be expected to work independently with little direction/oversight, be accountable, and assist the Regional Medical Director as needed.Key Responsibilities will include:Identify KOLs and establish and maintain strong and deep scientific relationships with KOLs across multi-specialty disciplines, connecting to KOLs in academic andnon-academic centers at the local, regional, and national level.Serve as a scientific expert to the medical community and facilitate the appropriate exchange of scientific informationCommunicate experts' opinion and feedback on new data and clinical trends to Medical Affairs and translate this information into strategic recommendations toenhance science and advance patient careAct as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator-initiated researchCollaborate with the Clinical Operations organization to enhance patient enrollment in company-sponsored clinical trials by identifying appropriate clinical trialsites, supporting clinical trial awareness, and interacting with investigators in ongoing studiesServe as medical lead and provide scientific support at medical congresses, support national and European medical booths staffing, participate and lead clinicalsupport, and facilitate medical discussions at advisory boards and local scientific/medical programsLead national projects such as national congresses, PAG engagement, as delegated by Country or European medical leadershipBe familiar with country specific pharma rules and regulations, particularly as they apply to MSL activitiesProvide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in academic, non-academic, and healthcare provider settingsDevelop and execute territory plans in alignment with regional and national strategyDevelop and maintain strong and deep relationships with clinical decision makers at local and national institutionsPartner with cross functional teams, including HEOR/market access to develop the strategy and generation of health economic and outcomes data as needed, andpresentation of such data to relevant audiencesServe as mentor for other new hires and/or less-experienced MSLsManage/lead relevant medical activities/projects including, but not limited to:Facilitate and lead field medical onboarding programs, and support training of commercial (including sales) colleaguesSupport Country Medical Director in translating the medical affairs strategy to a national KOL engagement plan and ensures the KOL development translates toindividual territoriesPartner with Global Medical Information colleagues to continuously improve Standard Response Letters and efficiency of MIRF processAs a senior member of the medical team, contribute to the national, and as needed regional, medical strategy and medical planProvide scientific support to Regional Medical Director and facilitate medical discussion for national medical advisory boardsOther duties as assignedWho you are:Advanced Scientific degree or equivalent experience required. (MD, PhD, PharmD)Minimum of 5 years MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industryRare disease experience preferred, particularly in Oncology and/or NeurosciencesDemonstrated mastery of effectively presenting clinical/scientific information#swjob26What we offer: Your annual salary depends on your experience and qualifications and starts at € 65,000 for full-time employment. We offer you an attractive package including benefits & flexi-time with home office opportunities. The base salary for this position starting with € pa, taking into consideration your experience & background.
