The primary purpose of the role is to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical coding quality at both individual and District level and to provide education at both levels to bring about that improvement.

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms. By reading the Position Description, then, using our online portal, submit a resume and answer the selection criteria within the application. In addition, please note you must have the following essential requirements:
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role
* Extensive inpatient clinical coding experience at tertiary level across a range of specialties using a recent edition of ICD-10-AM / ACHI / ACS and National Coding Advice whilst applying a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between ABF and clinical coding
* A coding test including and understanding of the ACS will be required to be undertaken.
