Key position responsibilities:
1. Create effective approaches to drive new revenue and close new business
2. Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities
3. Develop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect services
4. Identify prospective leads; develop new client relationships via cold calling, internet research, networking events, trade shows and direct marketing
5. Promote TransPerfect by educating clients on the company’s various services
6. Present TransPerfect solutions via one-on-one, group, online and in-person meetings
7. Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures
8. Provide customer support and manage client expectations
9. Quote, manage and bill projects on a daily basis, coordinating with clients and production teams to ensure these run smoothly and profitably
10. Communicate professionally at all levels of seniority

Experience required:
22. Degree or equivalent experience
23. 3 years + previous strategic business development experience
24. Superior communication skills in both English and the local language
25. Proven sales life cycle experience - lead generation through business closing
26. Proven track record in achieving sales target
27. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
28. Established capabilities managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
29. Most importantly, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service
