About the Role:
We are looking for the engineers who will be responsible for the design, development, and supervision of electrical systems and assemblies in low to medium voltage applications. This role ensures that electrical products meet performance, quality, and safety standards while supporting production efficiency and continuous improvement.
A new team is being built, so there are several similar openings allowing various levels of candidate experience.
This position is not applicable for visa candidates.
Location: Lower Austria (onsite) or Vienna (with 2 days/week onsite in Lower Austria)
ResponsibilityScope
Design & Development:
Develop and optimize electrical designs for low voltage products, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
Select components (switchgear, circuitbreakers, relays, busbars, control devices) according to technical, quality, and economic requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL, NFPA, etc.).
Manufacturing Support:
Provide technical support to production and assembly teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing.
Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineers for seamless component integration.
Quality & Compliance:
Validate designs through testing, simulations, and prototyping.
Review products for compliance with safety regulations and internal quality guidelines.
Participate in root cause analysis for defects or failures and implement corrective actions.
Work with process engineers to optimize manufacturing steps and reduce assembly time.
Recommend design changes to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
We are looking for the candidates with
Technical education (focus on electrical engineering)
Hands-on experience in electrical design, preferably in low-voltage switchgear, panel building, or system assembly
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Experience in planning and implementing switchgear systems
English fluency to communicate with colleagues abroad
