About the role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, the Senior Finance Manager – Business Partnering leads management accounting services across BAC’s business units.
This leadership role involves embedding finance into BAC’s operations and enhancing performance through data insights, technology, and analytics.
The role fosters collaboration, adds commercial value, and empowers a high-performing team to support business planning, project delivery, and strategic goals. Your main responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing a finance team aligned with BAC’s objectives and values,
* Overseeing management accounting and reporting, including monthly reports, forecasts, and budgets,
* Partnering with business units for project reporting and financial decisions,
* Improving financial systems, processes, and policies,
* Providing financial analysis and insights to drive performance,
* Collaborating across teams for compliance and innovation,
* Leading finance support for system reviews and implementations, including testing,
* Maintaining documentation and reviewing procedures and controls.
Experience and qualifications
* CA/CPA qualification with tertiary education in accounting, commerce, engineering, or a quantitative field,
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role,
* Leadership experience managing and developing teams,
* Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Word,
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
* Experience in a large commercial environment or Big 4 firm,
* Experience managing financial records for capital works or infrastructure projects,
* Familiarity with interpreting lease or contract terms,
* Practical experience with TechnologyOne.
