In this high-level position, you will be responsible for managing all technical disciplines and planning and executing technical activities, playing a key role in the successful realization of large-scale projects.
The scope of responsibilities includes:
* Responsibility for implementing the technical concept according to the project contract
* Execution and optimization of plant design considering the project budget, schedule, company standards, and customer requirements
* Organizing planning processes, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality
* Coordination of technical disciplines, leadership of the engineering team, and supporting the project team with technical expertise
* Development of standards and project-specific engineering manuals in coordination with the client and internal departments
* Review and approval of services including suppliers, planning, and management of FATs and SATs
* Creation, review, updating, and approval of documents
* Monitoring and participating in risk identification and development of mitigation plans
* Moderation of project meetings and interface with the customer on technical matters
Our requirements:
* Completed technical studies focused on process, plant, or mechanical engineering or similar
* Training in project management is an advantage
* Team and customer-oriented thinking
* Several years of relevant experience in engineering management of large projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical sector
* Interdisciplinary technical expertise and experience in industrial project engineering
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong leadership and team skills, commitment, and practical approach
* Fluent in English, German skills are a plus
* Willingness to travel mainly within Europe
