Job Profile
The Project Management Officer supports the Strategy Department in driving the institution’s strategic agenda. Responsibilities include monitoring strategic initiatives, action plans, performance targets, and policies across four units: Strategic Planning, Innovative Financing Solutions, Sustainability & Climate Change, Development Effectiveness. Collaboration with internal stakeholders ensures coordination and alignment with institutional goals. Key duties involve data collection, analysis, decision-support, and executive office coordination for planning, budgeting, project management, and performance tracking.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Monitors and evaluates progress and impact of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with objectives.
* Conducts regular reviews of ongoing projects to identify risks, challenges, and opportunities.
* Designs and develops KPIs and monitoring frameworks to track performance and recommend improvements.
* Supports planning and execution of work plans, budgets, staffing, and other departmental initiatives.
* Coordinates with Directors of the four Strategy Units on relevant matters.
Data Standardization, Analysis And Digitalization
* Develops data collection methodologies and tools, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
* Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to inform strategic decision-making and performance.
* Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis to derive insights, identify trends, and support evidence-based decisions.
Research And Market Analysis
* Conducts research on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in international development.
Communication
* Maintains effective communication channels within the department and with external stakeholders.
* Ensures clear and consistent messaging in all departmental communications.
Other Tasks
Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Vice President, Strategy Department.
Qualifications And Experience
* Master’s degree in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in an international development institution.
* Fluent in English; good working knowledge of Arabic, French, or Spanish is an advantage.
