Your future Role
* Lead, support and motivate the frontend team of seven developers in day-to-day work, acting as a reliable point of contact for professional and personal matters (e.g. through regular 1:1-meetings).
* Actively improve agile team and development processes to ensure efficient and high-quality frontend delivery.
* Take technical ownership of frontend development by guiding the team on frontend best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, scalable and maintainable React-based applications.
* Define, track, and communicate cross-team OKRs, including alignment with other teams on dependencies and blockers.
* Support transparent communication within the team by coordinating availability, sharing important updates, and fostering team connection through regular team activities.
* Collaborate and align closely with other teamleads (Backend, Product Management, QA, etc.) to ensure smooth cross-team collaboration (our working language is English).
* In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Software Development.
You’ll fit great with these Skills and Qualifications
* At least 5 years of professional experience in a team lead role in software development, preferably in a SaaS-context.
* Strong leadership skills with excellent communication as well as decision-making skills and the ability to motivate and support team members.
* Strong organizational and documentation skills with a structured working approach, combined with resilience and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
* Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and drive topics independently.
* Strong affinity for agile methodologies and proven experience in actively shaping and improving agile processes.
* Experience working closely with cross-functional teams such as Backend, QA, Product Management and HR.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

We offer a minimum salary of € 62,790 gross per year (ST2, Regelstufe) based on the IT collective agreement. This applies to a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week and requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Frontend Teamlead or similar.
Significant over-payment is possible for candidates with relevant professional experience and qualifications.
